HOME ANTENNAS CPU DESIGN CONTACT
The Porcupine's antennas are a helical design, equally sensitive to both horizontal and vertical signal polarizations. The antennas provide their maximum gain of 12db in the 2.4Ghz band, focusing the signal strength such that it's eight times more detectable The small copper foils at the base of the antenna winding are manually adjusted to insure the antenna's impedance matches that of the coaxial cable.
